Goran and Josip of FlexiTrans behind a wrapped upright piano

An owner-managed Viennese business — with a division just for instruments

FlexiTrans e.U. belongs to Goran Dzajic and has been moving Viennese homes and offices for years. The piano division grew out of that, because other companies kept turning instruments down — and because we realised that it really does not work without your own equipment and a crew that has done it before.

How a refusal turned into a specialisation

It started with a phone call. A customer had asked three companies about her move; all three took the move — but none of them took the piano. We did it, with a borrowed skid and four people.

Then came the next call, and the one after that. At some point it was clear: either you do this properly, with your own equipment, trained carriers and insurance that applies while carrying — or you leave it alone. We chose the first option and built this website so that people can find us for it.

The same people, every time

For piano work we deliberately use a small, fixed crew. Anyone carrying an instrument down a spiral staircase has to know how the colleague in front will react — you do not learn that in an induction, you learn it on the fiftieth job together.

So no day labourers and no rotating subcontractors. The people in your apartment are employed by us, and you will recognise them next time.

Four things you can rely on

None of this is particularly original. It is just surprisingly rarely taken for granted.

01

The price holds

What the quote says is what the invoice says. No difficulty surcharges on moving day, no waiting-time charges, no discussion in the stairwell.

02

We say no when we cannot do it

If an instrument or an access route is beyond us, we say so in advance — and give you the name of someone who can do it.

03

We document

A condition report before anything is touched, a joint check at the end. That protects your instrument and us equally.

04

We leave it clean

Floor protection out, packing material away, the stairwell as we found it. That is part of the job too.

What you can expect from us

Four points that make the difference between a transport order and an appointment you can have in your calendar without a knot in your stomach.

01

An answer the same day

Enquiries that arrive in the morning are usually answered the same day — within 24 hours at the latest.

02

One contact person

The same person from enquiry to appointment to invoice. No transfers, no ticket number.

03

An honest assessment

If we think a crane is unnecessary or a no-stopping zone will not help in your street, we say so.

04

Reachable on the day

You have a mobile number that is answered on moving day as well — not a switchboard.

Goran Dzajic
„On the phone I ask about the age of the building first, not about the instrument. I know the piano from your photo — what I need to know is the staircase. Anyone who quotes a price before asking that will revise it upwards on moving day."

Where we move pianos

Most of our jobs are in Vienna — we know the stairwells, the courtyards and the parking-ban permits. We also regularly work in the towns around Vienna — from Klosterneuburg via Schwechat to Mödling and Baden.

What customers ask us beforehand

If your question is not here, call us. We would rather sort something out in two minutes on the phone than in two days by email.
