We are not legally required to appoint a data protection officer. For any questions about your data, please contact us directly using the details above.
Pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR we inform you about the legal bases of our data processing. Unless explicitly stated otherwise: consent is based on Art. 6(1)(a) in conjunction with Art. 7 GDPR; processing for the performance of our services, contractual measures and answering enquiries is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; processing to comply with legal obligations is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Where processing is necessary to safeguard legitimate interests of our company or a third party and your fundamental rights and freedoms do not override those interests, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We follow the principles of data minimisation (Art. 5(1)(c) GDPR) and storage limitation (Art. 5(1)(e) GDPR). Your personal data is only stored for as long as necessary for the purposes stated here or as required by statutory retention periods. Once the purpose no longer applies or the retention periods have expired, the data is deleted without undue delay. For completed orders, the seven-year retention period under Austrian tax law (§ 132 BAO) applies in particular.
Your data is only disclosed where necessary for contract performance or where you have consented. Our website integrates services of companies based in third countries (including the USA). When these services are active, personal data may be transferred to their servers. The level of data protection in third countries does not always correspond to EU law; where providers are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, an adequate level of protection is ensured.
You have the rights of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future; the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected. Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation; for direct marketing the right to object applies without restriction.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Austria the Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at). For any questions about your data, you can reach us via the contact details in the legal notice.
When you visit our website, information is automatically recorded in server log files transmitted by your browser: IP address of the device, device used, host name, operating system, browser type and version, name of the retrieved file, time of the server request, data volume and whether the retrieval was successful. This data serves the technically flawless presentation and optimisation of the website; the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our website is hosted by itweb GmbH, Obachgasse 10, 1220 Vienna, Austria. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. All data you send us via the contact form or the piano price calculator — including uploaded photos — is transmitted in encrypted form. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar of your browser (“https://” and the padlock symbol).
Our website uses cookies — small data packets stored on your device. Session cookies are deleted automatically after your visit; persistent cookies remain stored until you remove them or your browser deletes them. Technically necessary cookies are used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically flawless provision of the website). In addition, the Google services described below set cookies for statistics and marketing purposes.
You can configure your browser to reject cookies or store them only with your consent; this may limit the functionality of the website. Collective opt-outs for interest-based advertising are offered by youronlinechoices.com (EDAA) and optout.networkadvertising.org (NAI).
We use Google Tag Manager, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles and does not store cookies; it manages and deploys the website tags described below (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Ads). When it loads, your IP address may be transmitted to Google, including to the USA. The provider is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse the use of the website (e.g. pages viewed, session duration, approximate origin, enquiries sent). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses by default and processes them in truncated/anonymised form at collection. Processing serves the analysis and optimisation of our online offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); data may be transferred to the USA (provider certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). You can object to collection using the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
We use Google Ads, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, including conversion tracking. If you reach our website via a Google ad and send an enquiry, this is recorded using cookies so that we can measure the effectiveness of our ads. The non-binding estimate calculated in our piano price calculator may also be transmitted as the conversion value. Processing serves the measurement and economic optimisation of our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Enhanced conversions: When you submit an enquiry, the email address and phone number you provide are transmitted to Google in hashed, pseudonymised form (SHA-256) to improve conversion attribution. Google can only match this data against existing Google accounts; third parties cannot derive the plain-text data. Data may be transferred to the USA (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
You can reach us via our forms — the contact form as well as the enquiry sent from the piano price calculator. We process the data you provide (e.g. name, phone number, email address, from/to address including floor, preferred date, message, type of instrument and your calculator details, and optionally uploaded photos of the instrument and the access route) to handle your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your enquiry). Before sending, you confirm the processing via checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
We use uploaded photos exclusively to calculate and prepare your transport. Publication — for example as a before/after example on this website — only takes place with your express, separately obtained consent.
Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply. To protect against automated abuse (spam) we use technical measures such as an invisible honeypot field; no additional personal data is processed in doing so.
If you contact us via the published phone number or email address, the transmitted data is stored automatically in order to process your enquiry. We do not pass this data on without your express consent. If the contact relates to pre-contractual or contractual matters, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts servers or other third-party providers, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.
This website links in several places to flexitrans.at — our own website for removals and the remaining transport services. A separate privacy policy applies to it.
This website may also contain links to third-party websites outside our area of responsibility. When you click a link, the operator of the target site receives in particular your IP address, the time of the click and the referring page; transfers outside the EEA may also occur. We accept no responsibility for the content and privacy practices of external websites — please check their privacy policies.
This site belongs to FlexiTrans e.U. — the same company, the same crew, the same insurance. Everything about home moves, office relocations, furniture and heavy transport lives on our main website.
